CDS Engineers was founded in 2025 by Dan Cutshaw, Nathan DeLisle, and Brian Sahm, with the goal of providing elite civil engineering services to Indiana municipalities.
We have the knowledge and technical expertise needed to deliver municipal advisory and strategic utility planning services and products to our Indian a client base. Based near Indianapolis, we we pride ourselves on the ability to be available to trouble-shoot in-person.

Dan Cutshaw, P.E.
PARTNER
Dan Cutshaw’s career spans more than three decades and multiple board positions. Municipal infrastructure is his primary area of focus, with an emphasis on planning, design, permitting and construction administration. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
In addition to his Professional Engineer registration, Dan is certified in IWPCA Construction Inspection. He is a current member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Environmental & Energy Policy Committee.

Nathan DeLisle, P.E.
PARTNER
Nathan DeLisle began his carear in the great state of Texas, having earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. His collective experience covers a broad range of civil engineering disciplines across Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. His specialties lie in municipal water and wastewater.
Nathan enjoys the challenge of optimizing water systems through investigative analysis and enhancing technical functionality and design of his clients’ systems.

Brian Sahm, P.E.
PARTNER
Brian Sahm is a Licensed Electrical Engineer specializing in electrical power systems, standby power, motor controls, process control and instrumentation, energy efficiency, and SCADA system architecture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering + Power Certification from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Brian’s career boasts of broad experience working with various water authorities and treatment plants from Arizona and Texas to Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
